Soli Deo gloria

Meet Mary

First and foremost, I am a sinner saved and sustained by grace. Currently, I am twenty years of age and only slightly irked that I am not yet able to say my age in an exciting way reminiscent of that A. E. Housman poem.  "One-and-twenty"...so close, yet so far.
Among other things, I read a good deal of poetry, drink an alarming amount of tea, quote Shakespeare whenever I am able, and consider myself a snail mail activist.
Due to vast and particular interests that I enjoy which include (but are not limited to) reading, dancing, Medieval and Renaissance studies, and Celtic Folk music...there is no telling what you will find on this blog. Indubitably, you will find a superfluous amont of words and my sometimes sorry attempts at articulating my thoughts. That is all I can assure you of as far as content goes.

"The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool". - Shakespeare, As You Like It, Act V, Scene I.

"...What in me is dark/Illumine, what is low raise and support/That to the highth of this great/ Argument I may assert Eternal Providence./ And justifie the ways of God to men."
-John Milton, Paradise Lost

"Fenworth nodded. ‘Yes, yes. Urgent, deadly, insidious. The world is in peril and we must rise against evil.' The old wizard released the general and patted him on the shoulder. 'Tea and cake first, don't you think?'" -Donita K. Paul. Dragon Quest
